Maryland State Police Headquarters Building ‘K’

Min Engineering, Inc. provided mechanical and electrical engineering design and construction administration services for the Maryland State Police Headquarters Building ‘K’ in Pikesville, Maryland. 

HVAC system design included replacement of original boiler with new energy efficient equipment, replacement of original pneumatically controlled temperature controls and compressor with new electrically controlled system with network accessible monitoring and control software, and provision of VRF energy recovery system for energy conservation, low operating cost and easy maintenance. The project included design of new entrance proximity card access and building security system compatible with departmental standard system. New emergency generator, replacement of automatic transfer switch, upgrade of all electrical distribution panelboards, and new lighting were designed. Light switches were relocated in ADA bathrooms.
