Coppin State University Daley and Dedmond Residence Halls

Min Engineering, Inc. provided mechanical and electrical engineering design and construction administration services for Coppin State University Daley and Dedmond Residence Halls totaling 216,000 SF, in Baltimore County, Maryland. 

The project included 60 hot water solar panels on roof, associated drainback tanks, 2,500 gallon storage tank, and controls for each building. The hot water generated by solar panels is used to pre-heat the existing hot water heaters incoming water to serve domestic usage of both residence halls.  Electrical design included power for the pumps and controls.
