Min Engineering, Inc. provided mechanical and electrical engineering design and construction administration services for the chiller plant upgrade at the 840 Acre Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) on Long Island, New York. 

The central chiller plant upgrade of 1750 ton capacity included the renovation of existing parallel chillers with dedicated constant flow chilled water pumps system to primary/secondary loop with variable flow in secondary chilled water distribution system.  Electrical work included design of an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for Building Management System in order not to lose the Control Application Software in the event of the primary electrical power failure.
