Min Engineering, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system engineering design and construction administration for renovation of the existing 20,200 SF and new addition of 12,650 SF for Restoration Gardens Apartments in Baltimore, Maryland.

The project included renovation of a historic building with 43 apartments, laundry, library, lobby, administrative offices, elevator shaft and machine room, kitchen, and a manager’s apartment. Design included renovation and addition of HVAC system for heating and cooling to serve all areas, which conserve energy operating costs.  Electrical design included electrical power distribution, emergency lights, intercom, fire alarm system, door entry system, and parking lot lighting. Plumbing design included two 94% efficiency, central gas-fired heaters and recalculating piping system. 

Restoration Gardens was presented with the Best Small Affordable Housing Project Award from the Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers (HAND)
